We work exclusively on the basis of the General German Freight Forwarder Conditions 2017 – ADSp 2017 –. Note: The ADSp 2017 deviate from the law in Section 23 with regard to the maximum liability amount for damage to goods (§ 431 HGB) by setting the liability for multimodal transport including sea transport and where the damage is unknown to 2 SDR/kg and otherwise the standard liability of 8.33 SDR/kg in addition to 1.25 million euros per claim and 2.5 million euros per damage event, but at least 2 SDR/kg.

Important addition to the General Terms and Conditions due to the port situation: Our offers and agreements always only refer to our own services or third-party services listed by name and assume normal, unchanged transport conditions and unhindered connection routes. In the current situation, delays, additional costs such as demurrage/detention, and non-compliance with the given loading deadlines can be expected in all ports. These costs are borne solely by the customer and the shipment and are calculated separately.
